PHOTOGRAPHY CHECKLIST

Professional Photography is the most crucial part of marketing real estate. The homeowner's assistance is vital in acquiring amazing images that will allure potential buyers. The list below must be done in advance to make your house "photo ready."

INSIDE PREPARATIONS:

• Deep clean entire premises, including windows.
• Replace burned out or mismatched light bulbs.
• Open blinds / window treatments to let in outside light.
• Make all rooms look larger by rearranging furniture, and removing non-vital pieces.
• Remove knick knacks, magazines, and papers from shelving, counters and furniture.
• Clear out all closets and pantry as much as possible to make them appear larger.
• Turn all TVs & computer screens off.
• Remove personal photographs.
• Remove rugs to reveal actual flooring.
• Place shoes, jackets, etc out of sight.
• Light up all fireplaces.
• If not in an Excercise room, remove excercise equipment.
• Kitchen: Remove appliances, soaps, cleaning items, towels, dishes, and draining racks from countertops; Place rubbish bins out of sight.
• Bathrooms: Clear countertops, bathtubs and showers completely, including all toiletries, soaps, shampoos, toothbrushes, etc.
• Bedrooms: Remove visible clothes & clutter, hide personal items & visible cables, make beds / straighten pillows, remove any items that might show underneath the bed, remove wall stickers. If possible, remove most items in closet to make it appear more spacious.

OUTSIDE AREAS:

• Move cars from driveways and garage.
• Remove rubbish bins.
• Mow grass, trim overgrown trees and bushes.
• Remove toys / sports equipment.
• Remove visible water hoses, planters & tools.
• Sweep patio areas and remove cuttings and leaves.
• Clean pool and pool area. (In winter, remove pool cover to expose clean water, if possible.)
